I’m drawn to stories that talk about difficult personal challenges such as managing anger (published in Mother’s Manual); Alcoholism (The Lutheran Standard); and emotional abuse (Gather Magazine). Such stories are motivated by personal experiences, but I rely heavily on interviews with the professionals to write the articles.
