I am so grateful that you reached out. I've been to the little church in Deavertown and the cemetery in Duncan Falls several times. I've always suspected I must have cousins I've never met on Grandma Ross's side of the family.

I enjoyed this memory. I already knew some of these tidbits about Bess and Dr Trout being the first to buy a car in tow. My name is Beth Somers Meersman Corna Trout Ross was my Great Aunt. Her sister Elwilda was my grandmother whose daughter Shirley Lee Gibbons was my mother. When I was 9 in 1969 my family went back to Ohio for a family reunion and I met Aunt Corna . I think I had met her before when I was very young but don't remember. My older siblings would have. We visited Dr Trout's home and surgery in Zanesville. My mother told me many things about my great grandfather Granville B Trout. Corna used to make ceramic jewelry for me and my sister. I guess we are either 3rd cousins or 1st cousins thrice removed.
